- There is a boat slipway and pontoon berths adjacent, use of which can be arranged by ourselves. This facility (owned by the Fowey Harbour Commissioners) also has a quayside with picnic tables and fishing which may be accessed on foot by park users. Access is by way of a steep concrete road descending the 300 feet from the Park to the waterside. Vehicular access can be arranged but a daily access / parking charge is payable (2008 £8.50).
- The surrounding area is hilly and steep gradients are encountered in most areas.
- The ancient town and port of Fowey is across the Estuary and can be reached on foot (approx ½ mile + ferry). The road is steep but there is both a Car Ferry and Passenger Ferry – timetables vary throughout the year.
- There are numerous beaches locally with very different accessibility. We will happily advise you - Our website contains a link to the Cornwall Beach Guide on the internet which describes fully all the beaches and access.
- Mobile telephone coverage is generally good, but some networks can be difficult. There is a public telephone 150m from the Park entrance.
